55th NHA Conference a Tremendous Success!
NHA members from around the world experienced four incredible days of healthful living — educational events, fitness activities, delicious meals, and joyous camaraderie at the Regency House Natural Health Spa in Hallandale, Florida, June 1-4, 2006.
Information-packed lectures were presented to a filled-to-capacity audience on a wide range of topics including fasting, women’s hormones and health, physical fitness, stress and emotions, pain, children’s health issues, and diet. Members especially enjoyed the interesting question-and-answer sessions with the doctors after lectures each day. Chef John Nowakowski not only coordinated the delicious meals members enjoyed daily, but presented two fabulous cooking classes on preparing healthy foods. We thank speakers Drs. Alec and Nejla Burton from Australia, Dr. Keki Sidhwa from Great Britain, Dr. Alan Goldhamer from California, Dr. Joel Fuhrman from New Jersey, Dr. D.J. Scott from Ohio, and Dr. Frank Sabatino, Jeff Novick and John Nowakowski from Florida for presenting an extraordinary range of topics.
Century Club Luncheon
Longtime Life members Bob and Irwin Goodman of Wisconsin made a very generous contribution to kick off the fundraising for the Century Club Luncheon. We thank Bob and Irwin Goodman, and all NHA members who generously made donations and pledges at this year’s Century Club Luncheon. A complete list of all Century Club and Life members will be featured in the fall issue of Health Science magazine.
2nd Annual NHA Silent Auction
This year the NHA Conference featured a silent auction. NHA members enjoyed bidding on a variety of items and those lucky enough to get the winning bids took home some great bargains! Thank you to everyone who contributed items and services to the auction, and congratulations to the lucky winners!
Fun and Friendship
Attendees also enjoyed aquatics in the pool, yoga on the beach, fitness sessions, music and dancing, spa treatments at the Regency, browsing the book table, walks along the beach, and relaxing in the hot tub! There were many opportunities to see old friends and make new ones.
See you in 2007!!
