Stephan Esser, M.D., is a passionate proponent for lifestyle medicine. He is pursuing advanced training at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts, while engaged in writing, speaking and clinical care. He is a traditional hygienist with an allopathic training who believes that vitality is based more on choice then on chance.

Tiffany Esser is a personal trainer in Boston, Massachusetts, who draws from a past of classical dance and endurance sports to create unique programs to meet the needs of individuals and groups alike. |

Alan Goldhamer, D.C., is the founder of TrueNorth Health Center in California, and Director of the Center’s residential education program. Dr. Goldhamer has supervised the fasts of thousands of participants. He is on the faculty of Bastyr University where he teaches a course on clinical fasting and was the principal investigator in two studies on hypertension. Dr. Goldhamer is the author of the Health Promoting Cookbook, co-author of The Pleasure Trap and a member of the International Association of Hygienic Physicians.

Susan Smith Jones, Ph.D., is the author of over 20 books and a variety of audio programs including her latest book Recipes for Health Bliss. She taught health and fitness at UCLA for over 30 years. As a health and fitness consultant in California she gives motivational lectures, workshops, and presentations for community and corporate groups. Susan also shares her wisdom and expertise on simple ways to create a vibrant, balanced life on radio and television talk shows.

Douglas L. Lisle, Ph.D., is the Director of Research for TrueNorth Health Center in Santa Rosa, California, and has published numerous articles on the scientific literature. He is in private practice conducting psychotherapy both at the TrueNorth Health Center’s residential health education program and at the outpatient clinic. He is the co-author of The Pleasure Trap: Mastering The Hidden Force That Undermines Health and Happiness.

Jennifer Marano, D.C., is the co-founder of TrueNorth Health Center in California. She has a B.A. in biology and chemistry and worked in scientific research labs and in the public school system prior to attending chiropractic college. |

John A. McDougall, M.D., is a physician and nutrition expert in California who teaches better health through vegetarian cuisine. Dr. McDougall has been studying, writing and speaking out about the effects of nutrition on disease for over 30 years. Dr. McDougall is the founder and medical director of the nationally renowned McDougall Program. He is the author of several national bestsellers including his latest ground breaking book, The McDougall Program for a Healthy Heart.

Lawrence Palevsky, M.D., is a board certified pediatrician in New York who uses a holistic approach to children’s wellness and illness. In his current practice, Dr. Palevsky offers consultations and educational programs to families and practitioners in the areas of preventive and holistic health; childhood development; lifestyle changes; nutrition for adults, infants and children; safe alternative treatments for common and difficult to treat acute and chronic pediatric and adult conditions; vaccination controversies and mindful parenting. |

Keki Sidhwa, N.D., D.O., is the co-founder and president of the British Natural Hygiene Society, Newark-on-Trent, England. He is the author of six books and a member of the International Association of Hygienic Physicians.
